EverQuest 2
Everquest 2 (EQ2), a massively multiplayer online-playing game (MMORPG), is the sequel to the original Everquest. EQ2 was developed by Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) and released in November 2004. Like the original, Everquest 2 takes place in the world of Norrath but nearly 500 years later when the gods withdrew from Norrath and started the Age of Destiny.

Much like Everquest, EQ2 gameplay includes killing monsters and gaining experience. Although Everquest 2 is focused around PvE (player versus environment) players can also participate in PvP (player versus player) combat. Gamers can also join EQ2 guilds where guilds gain experience and level up by completing heritage quests and other certain quests and tasks called “writs” that are specifically designed for guilds. Special rewards are available to guild members such as mounts, apparel, house items, housing options, and titles.
